Short Attention Span Fantasy Sports
By Mike | June 23, 2007
In case you didn’t already know, I like to gamble. I first started blogging a few years ago when I got into poker. I’ve cut down on that significantly since the recent passage of some anti internet gambling legislation and thus this blog was born.
I never really got into sports betting. I prefer games where I have more affect on the outcome and am not relying on some other team to come through for me. I’ve played fantasy games on ESPN where you pick against the spread with decent results, but not to the point where I’m willing to put money on the line.
I also enjoy fantasy sports, although I tend to get bored with baseball about this time of year, unless I’m in or close to first place for the league. Wagers on fantasy games are not uncommon.
So, enter Fantasy Sports Live. This is a brand new site that caters to those of us who like sports, like to gamble, and have short attention spans. And unlike sports betting, this falls under the fantasy sports realm, and thus is legal. You aren’t betting on the outcome of a game, you are entering a contest to see who can pick the players that will perform the best for that day.

It works just like a normal fantasy league, except each contest only lasts one day. No worrying about your players getting hurt, or slumping or who’s on the waiver wire or any of that. You just pick your team for the day you want to play and that’s it. There’s cash prizes for the top X finishers, depending on the number of participants.
You can deposit using PayPal or any major credit card and if you use bonus code POKERWORDS (for my poker site) you get a 20% bonus to try out the site with.
