Aside from the Illini loss, things were going quite well for me this tournament. I was actually winning both brackets I entered, and my 10 of my first sweet sixteen teams had made it that far.
And then, just a little behind schedule things went to hell. Wisconson, who was my dark horse to make the final four, in both brackets, and the championship game in one lost, and Texas, another of my final four teams also managed to lose. So as usual I’m not going to be winning anything anytime soon. Unless Ohio State beats UNLV for the national championship. Then maybe I’d have a chance.
This pretty much signals the end of all other distractions and now we can start concentrating on baseball. At least until the end of may when Cubs are mathematically elminated from the playoffs. Then I can start counting down the days until football preseason.
